About
Mission Statement
GREATER SALEM CAREGIVERS provides assistance to adults who are homebound, in order to help them develop and maintain independence within their own homes and community. Services are provided through a network of community volunteers.
Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to provide non-medical supportive services, through a network of volunteers, to adults needing assistance, with a focus on seniors. Volunteers provide friendly visits, rides to medical appointments, errands, and respite. In addition, the organization will make referrals to appropriate professional agencies.
Meet the Team
Greater Salem Caregivers volunteers are at work in the community helping homebound adults and elders maintain independence by providing services such as transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping and friendly visiting.
