20th Anniversary Celebration: “The Greater Salem Caregivers celebrated”

During 2009, the Greater Salem Caregivers will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Over the past 20 years the Caregivers have assisted thousands of elderly and disabled citizens in Salem, Plaistow, Pelham and Atkinson with rides to medical appointments, shopping, visits and wellness checks.

Hundreds and hundreds of volunteers have given their time and energy to help their fellow citizens maintain their well-being, dignity and independence.

The towns of Salem, Plaistow, Pelham and Atkinson have provided financial assistance as well as numerous private citizens, churches, businesses and community organizations.

The Caregivers have proven itself to be an invaluable asset to the community and have epitomized the virtue of “Neighbor helping Neighbor”.
